Unfortunately, longer school days mean less time for families and more dependency on the government -- which is exactly what the liberals want. They want YOU dependant on them, so that they can control everything about your life. They want to tell you how to spend your money, how to raise your kids, and even when you should die. Come on! You are way smarter than that -- don't give up your freedom to anyone else.

If parents are doing their job, then teachers can do theirs --- no need for longer school days.
